Kapag may lakad, dapat hinahatid-sundo.

OBSERVING and SILENT NOTES TAKING

There may be people who are very quiet and always keeping their mouth shut but it doesn’t mean that they don’t have anything to say or they don’t know anything. You’ll never know how good they are at OBSERVING and SILENT NOTES TAKING. Silent water runs deep. If there’s SMALL but TERRIBLE, there’s SILENT but TURBULENT. Less talk. Less mistake. Wait until their voices get heard.

The Stray Dog in XU

It was Tuesday May 13, 2014 when I saw a handsome stray dog in school.
After waiting at the clinic to have my Medical Cetificate signed, I passed by the CSG office in Xavier Uiversity - Ateneo de Cagayan.
Mario Neri was there busy encoding something in his laptop. He let me sat there for awhile and to my surprise, I saw this Furry Angel.
Thea Alolor saw him first. We all would like to give him food. We were also talking to him as if he is a human. I'm so glad to see Thea breaking the biscuits into little bits for the dog to easily munch them. She also looked for a container where we could put water so the dog could also drink.

Instead of rushing my way upstairs to catch my 10:40am class, I managed to stay with the dog and keep on asking him, "Hey, how were you able to come inside the school. Are you lost? Are you hungry?" The dog was harmless, I whistled and keep on saying, "Hello doggy". I tell you, if only this dog was well taken cared of, he will look beautiful as the black labradors/K9 dogs we see at Cetrio Ayala.
He would come near you if you call him. I intended to name him Theo because Thea was the one who offered him the biscuits.

I am also concerned about the response of people who might see him. Because he also have this smell that not everybody will like. I'm sure dog owners will know that smell if their dogs do not want to be bathed and he has scabies. Please look at the photo wherein I placed a sticker heart inside a balloon. You can see in his eyes that he needs love, a place called home and people he may call his FAMILY.

Dr. Dulce Dawang is so kind. She was on her way upstairs when she saw the dog, I didn't see a facial expression that was grossed out. She even smiled and said, "Nagpahangin sya oh". I am referring to the picture wherein I placed a halo on top of the dog's head - I consider dogs as furry angels. She is so humble and I admire her.

I wasn't wrong with my perception. The security guard in school held an arm rest, I don't know where he got it. I really saw everything he did. He stroked it and hit the dog very hard. The dog ran away as fast as he could down stairs. I told the security guard not to hit the dog and that he could shoo him away without hurting him. The exact words I said was, "Manong Guard! Kuya, ayaw bunali ang iro. Pwede man na nimo abugon nga dili nimo sya gabunalan! But he didn't listen to me. He did not even managed to drop the arm rest he was holding. The act was very inhumane.
I really cried out loud and couldn't take what he did.
He called another guard to watch at the other end of the pavilion because it was where the dog hid. But to their surprise, the dog was nowhere to find.

I hope and pray that LAW makers will include ANIMAL RIGHTS and WELFARE in their list. It is my advocacy to protect not only humans but also the other creations of GOD. I wanna be a lawyer someday and I will never forget these learning experiences in my life. I pray that the security guard will realize what he did. I know he is on his duty to ensure the safety and security of the students, teachers, staff and other people in school. But it is not right to harm dogs. I hope he will reflect on these questions and all of us reading this:
What if you were in the dog's shoes? How would you feel?

Honestly, I'm not mad at him. I am mad at what he did. But I forgive you. Ask forgiveness from the LORD and He will forgive you.

REMEMBER THIS:

"Reverse the word DOG, you will get GOD"

I just pray that the dog wasn't badly hurt and I hope a loving home awaits him.
Please pray for all of the animals in the world. They don't deserve to be treated this way. STOP ANIMAL ABUSE!

MUSIC is my LIFE

What could be the world without music?
For it is full of magic
It makes our day and mood fantastic
Could heal both physically and spiritually sick

When we sing hymns, we praise the Lord
Especially if it is done with one accord
Feel and love the tone of every chord
To ignite your Spirit if you are bored

Music really brings life to everybody
A treasure worth keeping like a jewelry
Same as a pearl that symbolizes purity
Adds happiness and beauty to you and me

Inspired from the Beatitudes of Music Teachers by Loraine Edwards

My four lines version:

Blessed are the music teachers who accept criticisms for theirs is the value of humility.
Blessed are the music teachers who give their time and efforts for theirs is the value of generosity.
Blessed are the music teachers who share their knowledge and life stories for the pages of their book of life will be filled with love and wonderful memories.
Blessed are the music teachers who continuously share and inspire their students to lift their faces to smile for theirs is the contentment and peace of mind.
